These letters can be used for submitting Taconic-STL materials for UL approval. Appropriate customer specific information must be added such as your UL file number and process designation before sending the letter.
Laminate Weight Calculator
This html file will run in your browser and calculate the total weight for any thickness laminate with any cladding of any size and quantity. Just enter the thickness (in mils) the cladding (in ounces per sq. ft) and the size in inches, as well as the total quantity of pieces. Then push the calculate button. This is useful for estimating shipping weights.

7628 HR for use in single ply dielectrics
Designing multilayer constructions involves several critical choices. Cost and function have become increasingly hard to balance for certain low layer count PCB's. Using higher resin content 7628 prepreg is one way to manufacture certain designs at a lower cost. The use of 7628HR combined with thicker core material for a typical .059” 4-layer can save as much as 20% on materials.
